What are the TERPECA Awards?
Dubbed the “Escape Room Oscars,” the Top Escape Rooms Project Enthusiasts’ Choice Awards (TERPECA) are a prestigious global recognition of excellence in escape room design and experience.
Nominations are made exclusively by seasoned escape room enthusiasts, each of whom must have played at least 200 rooms—a testament to their expertise.
From there, entrants are carefully evaluated and narrowed down through a transparent methodology overseen by the TERPECA board.
Final rankings are determined and publicly released each year to uphold accountability and integrity.
Alongside the Golden Lock Awards, the TERPECAs stand as one of the highest honors in the escape room world—making a nomination a major milestone for any venue!
